Grief Support Groups
Grief can bring many emotions and may leave individuals feeling isolated or unsure if others understand. Our Grief Support Groups provide a safe, supportive space to share experiences and learn coping strategies with others who have experienced similar losses, guided by trained grief counselors. Groups meet for 12 weeks, require advance registration, and space is limited.

The following groups meet weekly for 12 weeks beginning the week of Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
Advanced registration for all support groups is required unless otherwise noted as Drop-In.
There will be no group meetings held 11/24, 12/22, 12/29.

Remembrance Services
(.The Hinds LifeCare Quarterly Remembrance Services are non-denominational, interfaith services led by the Hinds LifeCare Spiritual Care Team and the grief support staff from the Center for Grief & Healing.
This can be a meaningful time for reflection and connection as you remember and honor your loved one.
If you feel comfortable doing so, we invite you to bring a framed picture to share.
We will have a table set aside for a picture of your loved one.

The candlelight ceremony includes music, warm drinks, and the opportunity to have the names of your loved ones read before the special tree lighting ceremony.
