On May 2, 2026, more than 1,000 participants gathered at Woodward Park for the 22nd Annual Angel Babies Walk/Run, one of Hinds LifeCare’s most cherished community events. Families, friends, sponsors, donors, volunteers, staff, and community partners came together to honor and remember babies lost during pregnancy or infancy, taking steps in memory of the children they hold in their hearts.

Each participant walked with purpose, carrying stories of love and loss while being surrounded by a community that understands and supports their grief. The morning served as a powerful reminder that no family walks this journey alone, and that remembrance can be both personal and shared.

More than a fundraiser, the Walk/Run is a meaningful tradition of connection and compassion. This year, the community raised nearly 97,000 dollars to support the Angel Babies program and grief services for families throughout Fresno, Madera, and Merced Counties, helping ensure that care, comfort, and understanding are available when they are needed most.
