Here’s how we help:

• Whole-Family Support: We work closely with the child, family, and community—including their current healthcare team—to create a care plan that meets their unique needs. From pain and symptom management to emotional and spiritual support, we’re here for the entire family, including parents, caregivers, and siblings.
• Care Wherever It’s Needed: Whether at home, in the hospital, a long-term care facility, or at Hinds LifeCare Home, we provide care in the place that feels most comfortable for the child and family.
• A Team of Experts with Heart: Our team includes a pediatric physician specializing in palliative and concurrent care, along with compassionate nurses, social workers, chaplains, grief specialists, and massage and music therapists. Trained hospice volunteers are also available to provide respite care for caregivers.
• Collaboration with Your Child’s Doctors: Your child’s primary physician and specialists remain actively involved in their care. We work as a team to provide the best support possible.
• Respect for Every Family’s Journey: We honor each family’s personal, cultural, and spiritual beliefs, helping them set goals and create meaningful moments together.
• Compassionate Bereavement Support: Our care doesn’t end with a child’s passing. We offer guidance through anticipatory grief, support in times of crisis, and ongoing counseling for parents, siblings, and the child’s wider community.
