Hinds LifeCare recently welcomed a group of Enterprise employees to the Hospice Home for a special behind-the-scenes tour, offering an introduction to hospice care while thanking them for their incredible support.

In 2025, Enterprise selected Hinds LifeCare as one of just five nonprofits included in its workplace giving program, with employee donations matched by the company. The partnership began thanks to Enterprise employee Pam Western, who recommended Hinds after her father received hospice care more than 23 years ago. It was a compassionate experience her family has never forgotten.

Today, Enterprise employees have already contributed enough through the program to provide the equivalent of approximately 22 days of hospice care in a patient’s home, helping ensure more families receive the comfort and support they need when it matters most.

Reflecting on the visit, Christine Simon, Major Gifts Officer, shared, “I am deeply grateful for every member of our care team who carries Nancy’s legacy in their hearts and with their hands.

It is an honor to hear stories like Pam’s and to see how the care given to one family more than 23 years ago is still being remembered and is now helping make that same care possible for others.”
