Sometimes it takes a big night to see just how many people are behind the work of Hinds LifeCare. That was certainly true at our From Darkness to Light Gala. On September 11, our staff, volunteers, donors, sponsors, and community supporters came together for an incredible evening celebrating the mission we all have a hand in carrying forward.

And together, we raised more than $250,000 to support Hinds LifeCare, with funds helping sustain the Center for Grief & Healing and the care and support it provides to people throughout the Central Valley. There’s a lot of effort that goes into making a night like this happen, and there’s even more work that happens every day after the decorations come down and the lights go off.
